]]> The Serbian National Theatre musicians are self-isolated these days just like the rest of the world. But even though they have to sit at their homes, they decided to perform something for all the people out there who’re struggling right now. In Serbia, like in many other countries, cultural events are canceled due to coronavirus outbreak and many artists found themselves without work.

“Many people are losing their jobs, not just artists and musicians, said Aleksandar Stankov, the opera director. “Even worse, some are losing lives, and we’re aware that’s what’s the most important right now. However, even though the whole world is on hold, we still believe we should do what we do best.”
