]]>The German artist is co-founder of a creative studio named Sons of Ipanema, and he decided to branch out and explore new styles when he started his Instagram page @janillustrates. He tried to find his own style and settled on playing with colors, textures, and shapes while creating the introspective conception illustrations that he’s now known for. He focuses on vector illustration, and mostly uses Illustrator and Photoshop in his work.
Siemen’s illustrations often explore the place of small people in the big world, addressing specific issues such as the impact of technology and climate change. Even though these themes are prevalent in his work, he doesn’t see himself as an illustrator who’s solely focused on social criticism.
“Depending on which illustration you’re looking at, I’d rather call it irony or sarcasm or romanticism than social criticism. I would rather entertain than enlighten… Certainly not everyone understands my intentions and sometimes there are none or it is too obvious,” Siemen told Pop Web Designs.

]]>Lindmeier’s photo manipulations are some of the best we’ve seen so far. He creates eye-catching surreal scenes that can look like they have come out of someone’s fairytale dream or a kind of nightmare that keeps you up at night.
According to the artist, he takes his inspiration from fairy tales, myths, music, nature, and art. This diversity is easily spotted in his works as they include food in the shape of animals, sci-fi kitchen appliances, haunted fruit, and much more. It seems that each new work can go one way or the other.
“Almost all of my works begin with a passion for the surreal,” he explains. “Often accompanied by playing with words, the sense of playing finds its way out of my head through Adobe Photoshop into the colorful world of images.“
Lindmeier, who also has a design studio that deals in graphic design and web design, frequently shares his newest photo manipulations on social media.

The Ukrainian digital artist’s mastery of Photoshop is just so amazing. So much so that you’d think that her photo manipulations were literally ripped straight out of a fairy tale. But, mind you, they weren’t. They were created by her using Photoshop.
The best part? She doesn’t even use related photos to achieve the effect.
What Viktoria does is that she combines multiple ordinary images to create the mystical photographs that have since led her to becoming viral.
