]]>White discovered glass art at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, while simply looking for a way to fulfill the art credit requirement. His first glassblowing class was a true life-changer, and he ended up spending every free minute of his college years at the hot shop.
Glass art remained his biggest passion following graduation, but he did a series of odd jobs before deciding to take a leap of faith and do it full-time.
“For several years, I practiced flameworking on weekends and after work until 2021 when I finally quit my job after being told I couldn’t take a day off to visit my family on Thanksgiving. What ensues is an ongoing journey wherein I strive to be the best artist I can be,” he writes on his official website.
White reached a point where he could transform glass into pretty much anything, but he decided to settle on one subject. His art is bringing dinosaurs back to life, and most of his creations capture these extinct creatures in intricate detail.
