She also enjoys working with gouache, acrylic, and colored pencils, but watercolors remain her personal favorite because they allow her to create accurate and sharp images.

When it comes to the subjects she enjoys exploring, Au is no stranger to botanical, animal, and urban themes. She lets her curiosity run wild, but she’s best known as a food illustrator and her body of work mostly consists of illustrations of everyone’s favorite comfort foods.
