The existence of the black hole has remained a figment of people’s imagination until the breakthrough recently. 29-year-old scientist, Katie Bouman, was able to take the photo of it by using several telescopes. The photos of which were taken with the Event Horizon Telescopes (EHT).

The black hole can be described as a hole having a ring of dust and gases outlining its surface. The dust and gases are swirled so quickly around the black hole in such a way that makes them appear brighter, which is due to their speed. Move almost at the speed of light, the dust and gases are heated up as they swirl around this hole before disappearing into it.
